Data Deletion Instructions

How to delete Pulse data or submit a deletion request.

Effective and last updated: October 16, 2026

This guide explains how to delete information that may be stored by your browser or Pulse servers, or how to request deletion. Pulse does not operate general user accounts, so there is no separate account deletion process.

1. Clear settings stored in your browser

Preferences such as language, display options, alert thresholds, watch areas, and viewed-event history may be stored in browser local storage. In your browser settings, open site data or saved website data and remove data for geoact.today. This clears Pulse’s local preferences and cached data. You can select only this site so other sites are unaffected. Menu names vary by browser.

2. Unsubscribe from push notifications

Turn off push notifications in Pulse settings, or revoke geoact.today’s notification permission in your browser’s site or notification settings. When the subscription is removed, its push endpoint and subscription keys are processed for deletion from the server. If unsubscribe does not work or you no longer have access to the browser, request deletion by email below.

3. Revoke location permission

Device location is used only in the current page session when you choose the location feature and grant browser permission. It is not sent to or stored on Pulse servers. Turn off the location feature or revoke geoact.today’s location permission in your browser or device settings.

4. Request deletion

To request deletion of access/security logs or a push subscription, email kodh2930@icloud.com. Use the subject “Pulse data deletion request” and, where possible, describe what information you used and when, including the browser or device. Do not send passwords, push encryption keys, precise sensitive location data, or other unnecessary sensitive information. We may ask for the minimum information needed to verify and process your request.

5. Timing and exceptions

Requests are reviewed and handled under applicable law. Some logs may remain for a limited period for legal obligations, security, dispute resolution, or backup rotation. Information held by third-party analytics, advertising, or browser push providers may be subject to those providers’ separate deletion procedures and policies.

See the Privacy Policy for details about information processing.
